A huge thank you to all our amazing families for being part of our best ever February Camp! From tennis champions and hockey winners, to sipping nettle tea, building dens, growing stronger through Muay Thai and flying high with circus skills — it’s been a week full of confidence, courage and fun.

Today’s forest school adventure was packed with muddy magic and springtime discoveries! 🌿🌳

The children had a brilliant day, building creative dens using sticks and logs and working together beneath the trees 🪵
🍃

They were excited to spot woodpeckers tapping high in the branches 🐦and became seasonal detectives too, spotting clues that spring is emerging — tiny buds on branches 🌱, fresh green shoots pushing up through the soil 🌾 and early blossoms beginning to bloom 🌷.

One of the highlights was making nettle tea 🍵🌿. The children learned how nettles can be used safely and helped prepare their own warm woodland brew. They also mixed up magical potions using natural treasures they found — leaves, petals, mud and water 🥣🍂 — creating wonderfully wild forest concoctions ✨🧪.

With wellies on and plenty of squelchy mud underfoot 👢🤎, there was lots of stomping, splashing and laughter 💦😄

A joyful, hands-on day full of curiosity, teamwork and outdoor learning at Active Champions! 🌲💚
